PLA Premium

Best choice for aesthetic utility and decorative elements when surface quality and detail accuracy matter.

Environment and safety profile

Sun / UV: Low UV resistance with long exposure to full sun.
Heat: Good stability indoors; not recommended for high temperatures.
Humidity: Good resistance to standard household humidity.
Bio-safety: Biocompatibility depends on the specific variant and pigment; for food contact, only dedicated versions with appropriate certification.

PET-G

Universal technical material for working parts. Very good compromise between strength, aesthetics and environmental resistance.

Parts exposed to moisture and frequent use

Environment and safety profile

Sun / UV: Good UV resistance; performs much better than PLA outdoors.
Heat: Increased thermal resistance for everyday and workshop applications.
Humidity: Very good resistance to moisture and splashing.
Bio-safety: Available variants with increased purity, but in medical and food applications, dedicated certificates are required.

ABS

Material for more demanding thermal and mechanical applications. Recommended for technical elements and working enclosures.

Environment and safety profile

Sun / UV: Medium UV resistance; for long work in the sun, we recommend additional surface protection.
Heat: High heat resistance compared to PLA and PET-G.
Humidity: Good moisture resistance in daily operation.
Bio-safety: Not a standard material for food contact; use only where hygienic requirements do not impose certified polymers.

TPU

Flexible filament for elements working under pressure, bending and vibrations. Works well where rigid plastics break.

Typical use cases

Shock absorbers, bumpers, non-slip feet
Gaskets, protective covers and technical cases
Elements requiring flexibility and vibration damping

Environment and safety profile

Sun / UV: Medium UV resistance; for constant exposure, darker colors or protective coating are recommended.
Heat: Good thermal resistance in everyday applications, while maintaining flexibility.
Humidity: Very good resistance to moisture and splashing.
Bio-safety: Skin-safe versions are available, but require confirmation of specific material certification.

ASA

Advanced technical material for outdoor applications. Designed for high UV resistance and dimensional stability outdoors.

Environment and safety profile

Sun / UV: Very high UV resistance; one of the best choices outdoors.
Heat: High resistance to elevated temperatures and solar heating.
Humidity: Very good resistance to moisture and weather conditions.
Bio-safety: Technical material; for contact products, separate standards and certifications of the final product are required.

PA6 (Nylon 6)

Reinforced nylon variant for the most demanding functional applications. Offers high strength and good heat resistance.

Environment and safety profile

Sun / UV: Medium UV resistance; for long outdoor work, surface protection is recommended.
Heat: Very high thermal resistance and good stability at elevated temperatures.
Humidity: Like other polyamides, it absorbs moisture - it is worth considering this in the design and operating conditions.
Bio-safety: Engineering material; for bio-safety requirements, special, certified variants are needed.
